Quick answerTim Underwood is the owner and master trainer of All Points Fitness in Gray, Tennessee. He has 50 years of experience, has taught more than 70,000 classes and spent more than 90,000 hours with clients aged 13 to 93. At 66, he still trains the way he teaches.

The mission
“Much more than just a personal trainer”
“This is about educating and supporting you from start to finish.”
Tim's approach is simple to say and hard to do: teach proper foundational form and technique specific to your body mechanics, your structure and your needs. Then hold you to it.
“It has been my passion to inspire and motivate others. Every client, every session, every success story reinforces why I do what I do.”

The education behind the experience
From Gold's Gym in Venice to Gray, Tennessee
Tim's 50 years didn't come from a textbook. Much of it came from training alongside the best-known names in the sport.
After watching Tim compete and win at the USA championships, Ed Connors, one of the owners of the Gold's Gym franchise, flew him out to California for three months to train at Gold's Gym in Venice. There Tim trained with the bodybuilders who filled the fitness magazines at the time.
“It was quite an education.”
Over his career, Tim has also worked with a professional football player, a professional basketball player and a movie star: punter Chris Gardocki of the Chicago Bears, the late Charles Shackleford of the Philadelphia 76ers, and the late actor Fred Ward.
He teaches so well that many of his clients have gone on to become personal trainers themselves. Today he brings everything he learned to every client in Gray, from teenagers to adults in their 90s, one program at a time.

“He could see and sense things even before I could”
With each exercise, he explained to me why I was doing that exercise, & which specific muscles that exercise would work. Most trainers just tell you to do an exercise but don't explain why.
I used to have to take one step at a time going up and down steps but now do so effortlessly. At 69, I now feel 15 years younger.
I didn't just get in shape in the time that I went here, I gained something vastly more important: discipline.
